Black History month discriminates against the other races?
Lynda that is SO IGNORANT. The reason for a Black History month is because all the other 11 months out of the year are occupied with white history. Why not get rid of the other 11 months? Isn't that discrimination too?
And be honest-how much are you really affected by Black History month? This article is probably the only Black History you have been exposed to in the last year.

There would be no Motown if not for the late James Jamerson's great Fender bass playing on most all of the artist albums.

Cathy Sam Cooke was not a Motown member; Sam Cooke was under the RCA label.

I'm not so much a Fan for Black History Month, but, Thank God for all of Those Talented Artists that We grew up with! Thank You, Smokey, Four Tops, Marvin, Tammi Terrell, et al. Most of all, Thank You Barry Gordy, for making Our Teen Years Unforgettable? Man, would I love to have those old 45's again? BTW, Diana Ross, I left You out on Purpose, as You were always a Narcissitic B****? I more Respect Your Back Up Singers? And, when You got Busted for DUI in Tucson, apparently You got out of it?

Awalldo, The Flamingos were there during that era. Another great show I saw there was The Temptations w/o David Ruffin; Cloud Nine / psychedelic shack era. Additional stars along was Gladys knights and the Pips along with The Chi-Lites. You got your $$ worth. Folks dressed in silk, minks, gators, along with expensive cologne and perfume in the air. I saw most on Sunday matinee; The show, a movie, cartoons and back to the second show again. All for $3.00. Saturday Night live at the Apollo was $3.00 $6.00. depending on seat or balcony..
